I am still around. Things are going pretty well for me. I am nearing the third trimester (next week) and excited to be having a baby soon, instead of being pregnant. I've never been much of a process person, so I'm all ready to have little girl here already (I still have 2 1/2 months so I need to practice using the small bit of patience that I have....)
Last month I had 2 visits from family. The first visit was with my sister. We ate like pigs and did a lot of shopping. Here's a pic of her eating dim sum at a local eatery.
My father came the following weekend to help me with house fixes (changing out wires, putting up my flat screen, etc.) We had a good time eating and visiting as well. Here's a pic of my Dad eating at one of my fav Indian restaurants nearby.
I have not been sewing, but have been knitting. I have completed all the pieces for the hooded cardigan, except for the hood and button band. I need to seam it together this weekend before I can cast on for these last two items.
I also went to my local library to get Elizabeth Zimmerman's Knitters Almanac so I can make the February baby sweater for Baby N. While I waited for the inter library loan to go through, I cast on for the adult version. Yup, I'm going to make us matching cardigans. I never thought I'd do it, but here I go already.....lol. I'm just at the garter point, but like the yarn and look already.
I also went to a knitting group in La Mesa that I really enjoyed! It was held at Panera Bread, which was yummy and I got to meet new women that knit...and some even sew too. I will be making it next month for sure! The down side of this is that it is close to a knitting store I've been wanting to visit (Two Sisters and Ewe) and that means me buying yarn and books that I don't need. Still, I'm excited.
Tonight I visit my old roommie for knitting and Dexter (we are only on Season 2 so no spoilers please!) We haven't hung out since my sister was here, so that'll will be a great start to my weekend.
I'll leave you with a pregger pic of me in my Butterick dress I made earlier this year. I'm around 27 weeks and popping. lol. At least this dress can still fit as a tunic. lol. Have a great weekend everyone!

You look very cute pregnant! Glad to see that you can repurpose some of your sewn garments for the time being. I was thinking today when wearing my S3678 that it would make a perfect maternity dress, LOL. That's that one with the gathered front that I made a couple times.
