Turtleneck Tube Vest FO

I have finished my turtleneck tube vest by Stephanie Japel in Fitted Knits. I think it has come out really well and my boyfriend has even said that it's his favorite FO of 2007! Here are the multiple pics from this evening. I've already started the two-tone shrug to match with the turtlenck top. Two done for April and a lot to go...

Hey gal-I wandered over from the Knitter's Coffee Swap to thank you for posting your answers to the questions for everyone. I enjoyed it.

And then I got to see the pics of you in your sweater. Wow! You look fantastic! I am similarly shaped and find it difficult to find flattering patterns. Can't wait to start one of my own.

That looks so awesome -- I love fitted knits and can't wait to make that (along with pretty much every thing else in the book!) Your rusted root turned out really well, too.

Hi Susan,

I am loving this sweater and followed your link from craftster. I was wondering- I am a significanly, er, "top-heavy" woman and have been eyeing this pattern but was worried about wearing a bra with it. Do the arm holes go over long enough to cover bra straps? Yours looks so good that i think not making it is no longer an option! :D

Thanks everyone. I've had a few questions about wearing a bra. I just wear a racer back and that's it. No problem. This one is flattering for the small and top-heavy women alike, which is great!

Finally getting a chance to catch up on blog comments. I have "Fitted Knits" and wasn't sure I could pull off the Turtle Neck Tube Vest, but after seeing yours I've decided to go for it. Worst that happens is it isn't appropriate for work and I wear it on the weekends right? Yours looks fantastic on you. You make a great model for your knits :o) I have some yummy Filatura cotton I was considering using for this instead of the wool. Do you think there's enough structure in the sweater to get away with using cotton??
