I am happy to report that I have finised the front part of Orangina using a lavendar color. I have now started (3" down and 15" to go) the lace parttern for the back using a beautiful amethyst colored wool. My plans are to either use the amethyst for the bottom ribbing for both the front and back, or do a corrugated ribbing pattern with both the lavendar and amethyst. Here's a picture with of the two colors. I welcome suggestions.

Looks great, Susan - so you have substituted a wool yarn for the cotton on Orangina? Great idea. I hate cotton, especially for lace projects. I also like your idea of incorporating a contrasting color. Very creative!!
